HOLIDAY COVER! You may have noticed that Marcus hasn't been with us for the last couple of weeks. If you follow him on twitter or facebook you will know that he's in the US travelling about and getting drunk as often as possible in as many ways possible. Jealous much? Also if you get there early you will be able to catch Wade warming up between 10-11. IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING BITE ON MONDAY 10TH MAY!!!
BITE has had to move venues for ONE NIGHT ONLY this Monday and wow! what a venue we're moving to - Maya, which, at 1A Dean St, is only five mins away from our normal home. It's normally host only to very rich celeb types, but they're letting the tramps (us) take over for one night, and you're going to love it. It's got the same roaring soundsystem you're used to, and the SAME DRINKS DEALS, the same entry price, everything. All that's different is that its closer to Tottenham Court Road tube. These New Puritans are one of our favouritemost bands - we've hammered their old singles like Elvis to bits, and since their second record Hidden came out in January we've been playing We Want War and Fire Power like crazy. Anyway, they have a new single Attack Music coming out soon, and a gig at The Garage on April 20th so they've given us a shitload of cool stuff to palm off onto one of you lot. We are so grateful to all you people, and our extremely large amount of regulars, some that have been there literally every week since the very start, so to say thank you, we are giving something back. Well, if you have been to BITE over the past year you will have almost definitely been snapped by our lovely photowizard Wade Fletcher, so to gain free entry, all you have to do is print out a picture of you in BITE as taken by Wade, and if you bring it BEFORE TWELVE PM we will let you in free. THATS NOT ALL THOUGH! There will be cake, treats, gifts, toys, and old skool BITE buggering about (remember, when we used to shave peoples hair off and draw on their faces and stuff?). Yes! This monday we will be hosting a party to celebrate the wonder of LONDON FASHION WEEK with the incredible guys from LONG CLOTHING who we have a mutually beneficial love affair with (they love BITE - BITE loves them) and it's going to be off the scale in the sweaty, scuzzy stakes. Recently obsessed over by the likes of Mixmag, RWD Magazine, ELLE and SUPER SUPER, we are certain that if you don't already worship them, you will after Monday. There will be lots going on, including Long Cocktails, amazing visuals and LONG goody bags filled with LONG merchandise for the first 150 entrants to BITE. Make sure you get there early to take advantage of this ridiculously generous giveaway. BITE VS XMAS - MONDAY 21st DECEMBER - ITS GOING TO R U L ESo it's finally here, the week we've all been so excited about. It's BITE VS XMAS! Now this one is going to be busy, thats a fact, so please get there early as it's going to be chilly and you don't want to have to stand queuing. Don't worry though, after the packed in like sardines situation last week, we are moving to the spacious beauty of the main room (they've delayed the refurb just for us!). The details are this - We are going to have snow falling from the skies, seasonal treats, mince pies, santa, twinkling stars and lots and lots of fantastic christmas songs as well as the usual thumping, sexy, squealing beauty.
